The 2018 Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference (#UMDCC18) will be held on November 8-9th at St. Catherine University campus, St. Paul, Minnesota. The UMDCC provides opportunities for digital collections creators and curators in the region and beyond to network, share best practices, participate in hands-on workshops, and learn from leaders in digital cultural heritage.

Amy Moorman is the College Archivist for Wartburg College, which includes the institutional archives and the Archives of Iowa Broadcasting, a collection of nearly 30,000 audiovisual items related to the development of radio and television broadcasting in Iowa.

She has over eleven years of experience working with archival materials, primarily in the areas of arrangement and description, digital archives, and visual materials. Prior to coming to Wartburg, Amy was Visual Materials Archivist for the Missouri State Archives for six years, and has also worked for institutions including the Missouri History Museum, Archdiocese of St. Louis, and the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum. She earned a BA in American Studies from Franklin Pierce University, an MA in History from the University of New Hampshire, is a Digital Archives Specialist (since 2016), and a Certified Archivist (since 2012).

In her spare time Amy tries to write novels, including her current project - a steampunk murder mystery set in a small Mississippi River town and featuring an archivist heroine. Amy currently lives in Waverly, Iowa being bossed around by her son, Lennon, and cat, Shadow.
